The walk begins back to Matabiau railway station, next to the "Mediathèque" building.

Take "10 avril" street and go up Jolimont hill.

On summit of hill you will find a first public garden and its imposing Obelisk.

Enjoy the view

and then enter the "Observatoire" garden...

and have a look on the monumental entrance of the old building.

By a sunny day, its towers are really beautiful.

Astronomers have moved to new Observatories like OMP Toulouse or Pic du Midi...

The garden of the old observatory is now appreciated by children and walkers.
